Turnster is a game you play with friends. We keep what the game needs to work, we don't sell or share it for advertising, and you can delete all of it from the app.
What we store
- Your profile: the name and avatar color you pick. Friends and the people you play see them.
- Sign in with Apple, if you use it: Apple's account identifier for you, so you can sign in again. We don't receive or keep your email address.
- Your games: matches, moves, invites, friends, your daily puzzle results and your streak.
- Chat: messages you send friends, filtered for offensive words as they're sent. Messages you report, and who you block, so we can act on reports.
- Notifications: your device's push token, so we can tell you when it's your turn and update Live Activities.
- Usage events: what happens in the app (a match started, a move played), tagged with your account's internal number, the app version and the iOS version. Never your name, messages or contacts. We use them to fix problems and improve the games.
What we don't do
- No ads, and no selling or sharing data with advertisers or data brokers.
- No access to your contacts, photos, location or microphone.
- This website sets no cookies and runs no trackers.
Who else handles it
Our servers run on Amazon Web Services in the United States, with copies of the database and usage events kept by Cloudflare. Apple delivers notifications. If you use Game Center, Apple holds your achievements and leaderboard scores under its own privacy policy.
Deleting your account
In the app, open your account and choose Delete account. We remove your name, sign-in, friends, devices, chats (both sides of each conversation), blocks, the reports you made, your daily puzzle results and invites nobody accepted, and revoke Sign in with Apple. Matches you played stay, showing you as "Deleted player", so your opponents' games still make sense. Backups that held your data expire within 90 days.
Children
Turnster isn't directed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect data from them.
Questions
